SCOTLAND

These free range hunts take place in the renowned Scottish Highlands, located west and north of Inverness. Our customizable packages provide a range of lodging options to suit your needs. You’ll find almost year-round opportunities for various species, making these Scottish Highlands hunts ideal for both avid hunters and their companions. Couples will appreciate the numerous non-hunting activities available while their partners are out in the field. For more details, be sure to check out our "For Couples" page.


SPECIES:


Deer Hunting Seasons


- Red stags: 1st July – 20th October (with the rut generally occurring in late September to October)

- Red hinds: 21st October – 15th February

- Sika stags: 1st July – 20th October (also with the rut generally in late September to October)

- Sika hinds: 21st October – 15th February

- Roe bucks: 1st April – 20th October (the rut typically occurs in August)

- Roe does: 21st October – 31st March


Game Bird Hunting Seasons


- Pheasant: 1st October – 1st February

- Partridge: 1st September – 1st February

- Grouse: 12th August – 10th December

- Ptarmigan: 12th August – 10th December

- Common snipe: 12th August – 31st January

- Woodcock: 1st September – 31st January

- Duck & goose (inland): 1st September – 31st January


Fishing Seasons


- 1st May to 31st October – Note that all rivers have different open and close seasons.


INCLUDED IN MOST HUNTS:


- Lodging (B&B, luxury hotels, or private lodges can be arranged)

- Fully guided hunting (the number of days depends on species and the hunter's preference)

- Trophy animal (no additional trophy fee, except on select Roe Buck packages)

- Lunch each day (additional meals may be included depending on the package)

- Rental car from Inverness (a personal driver can also be arranged)

- Field care of the harvested animal(s)

PRICE RANGE:


2026: $4,600 for one couple hunting one Red Stag, up to $8,000 for a three-species hunt for a couple.
