As a new hunter in my early teens, I was fortunate enough to have several role models in my life who provided me with opportunities to learn and grow my passion for the outdoors. This primarily occurred in the southeastern U.S., where licensing and tag systems were simple and straightforward. My appreciation for the outdoor lifestyle grew throughout my teens and college years.
The problem I eventually faced was that I wanted to experience hunting and fishing in the American West and beyond. Thus began the difficult journey of navigating western application seasons, permitting, and hard-to-understand systems that differed from state to state. Added to that were extreme differences in terrain, weather patterns, and animal behavior.
These challenges aren’t new. Each year, season after season, hunters face the same difficulties I once did — whether in the American West or internationally. I had to overcome (and still do to this day) significant challenges and a steep learning curve to achieve the experiences I’ve been fortunate to have.
The goal I strive for with every client on every trip we work on together is a knowledge-based approach to help them achieve the experience they desire, with vetted outfitters and guides. I’ve lived the frustration of trying to figure it all out on my own — the confusing draw systems, the hidden costs, the terrain surprises, and the unknown challenges that could have been avoided. I’ve also heard too many stories from clients who were disappointed after booking with the wrong people. That’s exactly why my role exists today.
Today, I use everything I’ve learned — from my early days in the Southeast to years of navigating the American West and international hunts — to take the guesswork and stress out of the process for my clients. I handle the research, the applications, the vetting, and the logistics so you can focus on what matters most: creating memories and enjoying the hunt you’ve always dreamed of.
